New District Policy on Cell Phones!
There is a new policy in place for all schools regarding the use of cell phones. Although students are allowed to carry them, they MUST be off and out of sight. A student may not use the phone for ANY reason throughout the school day. If a student is caught with their phone on, it will be taken by the building principal and kept for 30 days. If the student is caught a second time, the phone will be kept for 60 days. After that, the phone will be confiscated for the remainder of the year. Although it may seem harsh, please keep in mind that the students are there to learn, and the phones present a huge distraction.
